brainCloud is committed to providing accessible digital experiences for customers, partners, developers, applicants, and members of the public.

We strive to ensure that individuals of all abilities can access and use our websites, developer resources, documentation, support channels, customer portals, and Public Backend-as-a-Service (“Public BaaS”) services.

Accessibility is an ongoing process. We continuously evaluate, improve, and enhance the accessibility, usability, and inclusiveness of our digital properties and customer experiences.

brainCloud supports the principles of dignity, independence, integration, equal opportunity, and inclusive design for persons with disabilities.

Scope

This Accessibility Statement applies to digital properties operated by brainCloud, including:

  • getbraincloud.com;
  • customer portals;
  • developer portals;
  • documentation websites;
  • support portals;
  • customer support channels;
  • Public BaaS administrative interfaces;
  • online marketing properties operated by brainCloud; and
  • other publicly available digital services controlled by brainCloud.

This Statement does not apply to third-party websites, services, applications, or content that are not controlled by brainCloud.

Customer applications, customer content, and third-party integrations implemented by Customers are outside the scope of this Accessibility Statement.

Accessibility Standards

brainCloud seeks to design and maintain digital experiences consistent with recognized accessibility standards and best practices.

Where practical and reasonable, brainCloud strives to align its digital properties with:

  • Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA (and successor standards adopted by brainCloud from time to time);
  • applicable AODA requirements;
  • applicable human rights legislation;
  • applicable accessibility regulations; and
  • generally accepted accessibility practices.

brainCloud recognizes that accessibility standards evolve over time and may update accessibility practices as standards, technologies, and user needs change.

brainCloud may implement accessibility features and design practices including:

  • logical navigation structures;
  • consistent navigation patterns;
  • skip-navigation mechanisms where appropriate.

Content Structure

  • semantic heading structures;

  • accessible form controls;

Visual Accessibility

  • color contrast considerations;
  • responsive layouts;
  • scalable text support;
  • adaptable presentation where practical.

Alternative Text

Where appropriate, brainCloud may provide alternative text descriptions for meaningful images and visual content.

Compatibility

brainCloud seeks reasonable compatibility with:

  • screen readers;
  • assistive technologies;
  • accessibility software;
  • modern browsers; and
  • mobile accessibility features.

Documentation Accessibility

brainCloud seeks to improve the accessibility of documentation, knowledge base articles, developer resources, and educational materials where practical and reasonable.

Administrative Interfaces

brainCloud seeks to improve accessibility within administrative interfaces, dashboards, portals, and customer management tools where practical and reasonable.

Ongoing Accessibility Improvements

Accessibility is an ongoing effort rather than a one-time activity.

brainCloud may:

  • conduct accessibility reviews;
  • perform usability evaluations;
  • remediate identified accessibility issues;
  • review accessibility feedback;
  • improve accessibility processes;
  • update design practices; and
  • incorporate accessibility considerations into development workflows.

Not all accessibility issues can be identified immediately, and brainCloud does not guarantee that every page, feature, document, or service will be fully accessible at all times.

Accessibility by Design

Where practical and reasonable, brainCloud seeks to consider accessibility during the design, development, testing, and maintenance of digital properties and customer-facing services.

Alternative Formats and Accommodations

brainCloud recognizes that individuals may require information in alternative formats.

Upon request, brainCloud will make reasonable efforts to provide publicly available information in alternative formats or through alternative communication methods where practical and appropriate.

Alternative formats may include:

  • accessible electronic documents;
  • alternative communication methods;
  • accessible support interactions; or
  • other reasonable accommodations.

Requests will be evaluated on an individual basis and subject to technical, legal, operational, and security considerations.

Service Animals and Support Persons

For visitors attending brainCloud-operated premises where members of the public are permitted access, brainCloud supports the use of:

  • service animals; and
  • support persons

in accordance with applicable law.

Where a service animal is excluded by law, brainCloud will make reasonable efforts to provide alternative accommodations.

Visitors remain responsible for maintaining appropriate control of service animals while on premises.

Temporary Disruptions

Where reasonably practicable, brainCloud will provide notice of planned disruptions affecting accessibility-related services.

Where advance notice is not possible, brainCloud will provide notice as soon as reasonably practicable.

brainCloud welcomes feedback regarding accessibility.

Feedback may help identify barriers, improve user experiences, and support ongoing accessibility efforts.

  • accessibility barriers;
  • accessibility concerns;

Accessibility Requests

Individuals who encounter accessibility barriers may request reasonable accommodations or assistance.

  • respond within a reasonable period; and
  • provide assistance where practical and appropriate.

brainCloud may request additional information where reasonably necessary to understand or evaluate an accessibility request.

Non-Retaliation

brainCloud will not discriminate against or retaliate against individuals for requesting accessibility accommodations, reporting accessibility concerns, or providing accessibility feedback.

Employment Accommodations

brainCloud is committed to providing reasonable accommodations during recruitment, hiring, onboarding, and employment processes in accordance with applicable law.

Certain third-party content or services may be beyond brainCloud’s direct control.

Nothing in this Statement shall be interpreted as a guarantee that all content, features, services, technologies, or experiences will be fully accessible under all circumstances.

Nothing in this Statement creates a warranty, representation, service level commitment, or guarantee regarding accessibility compliance.
